we are doing well.  mike is still experiencing varying degrees of pain throughout a day but he is still talking a little every day and we have scheduled a CT scan to measure and make a skull cap to fit into his head.  the ct is set for tuesday morning and then it will take a few weeks to make it before surgery can be scheduled.  but one step forward is always something to praise.  mike’s parents are in town and enjoying the chance to visit and see him so alert.  keep the concert in mind–i will keep reminding about it on following posts so those interested can scroll back to find and print the poster.  our family will be there to enjoy the night.  hope to see many of you!  in christ, michelle

    Good morning, Michele,

    Jeremiah 32:27
I am the Lord, the God of all mankind.
Is anything too hard for me?

I just sent this verse to Elizabeth and Jip this morning. What a great verse to hang on to. I thought you might appreciate it as well. We keep you all in our prayers and continue to pray for Mike’s healing and your strength. I missed seeing you at Bible Study yesterday.

    Love,
    Gwen

    Hello Michelle:
We think of you and Mike often and keep you in our prayers. Unfortunately, we’ll be out of town for the concert -which sounds awesome.
The strength you draw from your faith is inspirational to all. Please tell Mike that the Naperville North parents were over our house last week and all are praying for progress.
    God bless,
    Barb and Mark

    Hi Michelle and Mike,

I am so excited to hear about Mike’s speech! I think about your family frequently and you remain in my thoughts and prayers. Mike-remember the deep breath then LOUD, SLOW and EXAGGERATED speech. I’m so proud of you! Know that everyone at Marianjoy is praying for you.

Slow and steady wins the race…isn’t that how the tortoise beat the hare???? I am sure that your little ones are hearing that already from you!!! Praise be to God that Mike is giving you a little every day – it keeps us all hopeful and prayerful that there is hope for restoration…..God will make a way, and your amazing perseverance and faith are an anchor for me….

Still want to talk to you…..cell is 240-6816.

    Love,

    Emily

As always you all are in my prayers. Continued prayers for good health, for words, for peace throughout the day, for painfree days. God Bless you all! Know we are always here for you even if we don’t see you in person. Take care and God Bless!

    Love and prayers,
    Heather

Michelle, You are so good to transmit the latest on what is happening with your family and Mike.
Jill keeps me up-to-date, but wanted to connect with you, too, to let you know that I am praying for you. I also keep the “bridge ladies” up to speed; they are always asking: “How’s Mike”?
    Sincerely, Debby Baumhower
