we are getting better at keeping mike hostage here at home.  he, unfortunately, did catch the flu from me and the kids.  i guess that’s how families share.  he threw up Tuesday morning but didn’t seem to swallow any into his lungs.  (praise God)  and the other lovely effects of stomach flu are tormenting him and the kids still.  but not much of a fever accompanied it and i am always glad to have avoided the hospital.  before the flu hit him he has been trying to speak a very little bit and my hope is that as he continues to try again he will get stronger and more intelligible and we can actually work on speech again (it has taken a back seat with his vow of silence the last month or so.  laura–we will try putting all that training back into practice!  don’t think we’ve forgotten you).                 thanks for upholding us in prayer.  even our providence in our porch cooler was extra special with an added “feel better” care package .   it is so good to be able t count on your care and prayer.  peace, michelle

ps     i will be posting more news on a special benefit concert my childhood church is collaborating on for March 24 in the south suburbs.  Sarah Van Drunen is performing and blessing us with the proceeds.  mark the date if possible and i will post info when possible!

You can count us in for March 24th! I can’t think of anywhere else we’d rather be (with as many friends as we can possibly round up). How wonderful of your childhood church to show such love & support! You’ve all been in our prayers and we’re sending you our love for Valentine’s Day!

I am speechless as always as life continues to happen for you….You have stored up many crowns for that next life – praying that you can use some of that in THIS LIFE….God blesses you to be able to attack each day as it comes….Each of us needs to lead our lives in the very same manner and not borrow trouble. As you continue to experience, there is just enough manna for today only.

Continued prayers for good health. Praise God for each small “miracle”. Praise God for you Michelle, for your kids and for all those involved with Mike. God Bless.

Count the Rodriguez family in for the 24th, will just have to make an extra donation since you wouldn’t let me treat last night!!!

Thanks so much for going last night, I do love the “For Good”
song. God brought you into my life and I have been changed for the better and changed for good because I have known you and your family. Mostly I have been changed because knowing you really means knowing Christ! I can’t thank God enough for the blessing he has given me in you! If you were here I’d give you a hug! j/k

We will continue to keep all of you in our prayers.
