mike is attentively watching the super bowl. the nice thing about his fevers is that he doesn’t experience much pain, but now that he is better it is back to muscle tension and moaning. meanwhile, i counted my miracles a little too soon and do have the flu. my mom is holding down the fort helping the kids (who are both experiencing some flu effects) while i do mike’s stuff. thanks for caring for us, michelle

Good Morning Mike & Michelle,
Like Peanut Tillman said last night, “Football doesn’t define me as a person.”
Thank God that your challenges and sickness do not define you as people. You both are the radiance of the God we love so much. Thanks for shining His love.
There are still many people who wear your silver wristband daily and the verse says,
“Be joyful in hope,
patient in affliction,
faithful in prayer.”
Romans 12:12
Praying for joy, patience, faith,
Janice

Michelle-the Lord brought me to prayer for YOU throughout the night last night after reading your post. Praying that you are already better. Will pray for relief from Mike’s pain, spasms, and fever and of course your precious children and health for all the balance of the winter. In His Love, Debbie

Thank you for your specific prayers, Debbie. Michelle began to feel better last night and was pretty much back to normal today. McKaela and Eli are doing better as well. Pray they grow in strength and energy and regain their appetites and joyful spirits. Continue to pray for good health for all and protection from any other “bugs” this season. Thanks to all for your faithfulness and ongoing prayer. It makes a huge difference day to day. Mike is still experiencing some sporadic pain, but continues to remain alert and seems to be attempting to speak again. Pray he continues to remain fever free so he can improve. Gratefully, Connie Bultema (Michelle’s mom)

Connie-I have just read your response and wonderfully specific prayer requests. Tears stream down my face as the requests are the ones God put upon my heart through the night last night practically verbatim. God is walking before us, we are bound together as His children, sisters and mothers full of prayers and love for our loved ones. To God be the glory!! Amen.
