it is officially Christmas eve right now and unfortunately mike will not be able to spend the holiday at home.  he is receiving antibiotics in the hospital right now for a bladder infection and a slight pneumonia and will likely stay for a few days.  he is still a little sleepy but improved.  The kids and i brought a little tree and nativity craft kaela made to decorate the room.  we are not feeling dismal.  i figure 2000 years ago mary and joseph spent Christmas where they didn’t want to be and God still met them there.  tidings of good news and great joy.  make no mistake–God is with us.  peace abundant,  michelle

Se missed you all today for Christmas dinner. We all prayed for you and yours. We know the Lord is busy in this world of ours. We keep telling HIM, “Missionary down, Missionary needs assistace”. We know HE is busy but we also recognize that HE has not forgotten you. God bless all of you and we will see you soon.

McKaela, please continue playing alphabet sounds with daddy, he likes to play sounds with you.

Love you Mike, Love all of you. Michelle keep up the good work, Mike is so lucky to have you at his side. Love you McKaela and Eli.

    Hey Michelle:

I had a minor pity party for myself this Christmas because our daughter Amy is in Bogota, Colombia and couldn’t get back for Christmas. Your comment about Mary and Joseph not being where they wanted to be really strengthened me just now. Thanks for ministering to me.

On my knees for your family and grateful for what I have,

    Hi Zegarskis,

I feel like I haven’t checked the site in awhile and so saddened to hear of another infection. I know God is watching over all of you. I will continue to pray for you and for the doctors and all involved in Mike’s care.

God will continue to carry you through each “obstacle” and give you the strength you need. I pray 2007 God reveals Himself in even more miraculous ways to all of you like He has so far.

God Bless and we love you!!

    Love and prayers,
    Heather Schmidt

Thinking of you all daily. As we have just learned of all the “goings on” with Mike, I am most greatful, Michelle, for your witness of what it means to be a true “servant.” May the Lord continue to be your strength- your All in All.

    Much Love,

    Dear Michelle,

You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. God can do all things and I continue to pray that God would grant you the grace you need day by day and that God would continue to heal Mike.

Love to you and your family,

    Janie and Phil
