10/13/06 – Mike Back at Marionjoy

October 13, 2006 at 5:58 pm 2 comments

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Mike transferred back to Marionjoy today.  Please keep up with visits during the coming busier Holiday months.  And, of course, keep up with prayer — for recovery and for Mike’s spirit.   The golf outing to benefit Mike and Michelle is tomorrow.  Thanks to all for prayer and participation.  It looks like we’ll have nice weather and a wonderful turnout for the event.

(a quick p.s.  to dan’s update–mike is in room 2275 in the new hospital area at Marionjoy in wheaton.  it is off of roosevelt rd between naper blvd and winfield.  visiting hours are weekdays 4-8 pm and pretty much 9-8 pm weekends.  he is in one of their gorgeous brand-new rooms.  a handful of old staff welcomed mike back this afternoon and he should be getting into his full therapy schedule on monday.  the staff saying goodbye at manorcare showed such graciousness in wishing us the best.  God has led us on such a route of unusual blessing.  thanks as always, michelle)

Thank you everyone for being so faithful in prayer for Mike and Michelle. No words can express our gratitude to you . You have enriched our lives.

Mike has been working very hard towards his return to Marianjoy, and Michelle has been there every step of the way as you all are so aware.

As you know we have been praying specifically for Mike to remain completely infection free which will enable him to become stronger each day. So again we are asking your assistance in this vital prayer request.

As Mike’s parents we are indebted to all of you. Our hearts are lighter because of you.

Congratulations again Mike on moving back to MarianJoy, you have worked very hard. Thank you very much for the opportunity to help you during this time.
You and your family are an inspiration to so many and have truly touched me. My continued thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will miss seeing you and your family and ManorCare will be a quieter place without all of the wonderful visitors for you.

    Thank you and God Bless,

    Diane Lube, Administrator, ManorCare Naperville
