No news really, except that a “shunt tap” is scheduled for tomorrow morning to determine whether there is an infection in the shunt.  The fever is still down, and Mike is on antibiotics.  Please pray that the C-diff does not return with the use of the antibiotics.

Michelle, I’ve been holding you in my prayers, but I haven’t checked Mike’s site in a while . . and I didn’t know why he was SO in my heart the past two days. Now I know why. Please let this embrace you once again with how very good God is . . and be reminded that His Spirit reaches out for us when we haven’t even known it. Peace be with you and Mike . . . Love, Lisa Ratchford

We were glad to read that the fever is down, but our hearts still ache because of this latest set-back. We check up on you and Mike daily and continue to pray for Mike’s progress and recovery, your strength, perseverance and encouragement, and also for your kids.

Michelle- Just wanted you to know that your family is in my prayers daily. Sometimes I’ll be doing who knows what, running, working, my quiet time, hanging out w/ kids, whatever I’m doing Mike will pop in my head, and I will just start praying. God Bless you & your family! And I will be continuing to pray for Mike’s health and recovery, your children, and you.

We so appreciate every update. Continue to know we are your intercessors, and there is a legion of them! May these setbacks not overwhelm you, and may you feel renewed every day in spite of them!

Continued prayers for all of you. Please know that each sentence you write means so much. I know you are busy and consumed with Mike and the kids. I so appreciate hearing from you. God bless you. May He give you strength each moment of the day.

    Love and continued prayers,
