Mike’s fever is down to 101, but it is still unclear what caused the spike in temperature.  He will remain at Central DuPage for a couple days, it is expected, while tests and observation continue.  At Michelle’s request, a CT scan was performed which came back negative (so it does not appear that any pressure or fluid build-up is an issue).  Mike is still on the ventilator, for now, but it appears that the situation is coming back under control.  We may know more tomorrow.  (It is not at all likely that we will know anything more tonight, so this should be the last update today.)  Thanks for checking in on the situation.

The kids and I pray for Mike and all of you daily, now it is constantly. I left a message for Brett at Frontier so that the YL folks in Colorado can lift Mike up as well. PLEASE, don’t hesitate to call if I can do anything! Love you, Robin

May the Lord guide Mike’s doctors and caregivers directly to the root of what has caused the temperature spike and then guide their hands to healing.

My prayers and thoughts are with you. God will provide the way.

Mike is in our prayers. We have been gone and have felt out of touch with what is going on. May God guide the doctors, nurses, and all who care for Mike to find out what is causing his fever. May the fever come down and may God continue to give you all strength and courage. May Mike be sent back to Marionjoy soon so that he can go home and be with all who love him.
As always may we be fervent in prayer knowing that all things are possible with God.

    Love and continued prayers,

Wow, was not expecting to hear this. Could it have anything to do with the Botox? You are all in our constant prayers and thoughts. Please call if you need us to take the kids or do anything else. We love you all very much and are so thankful that God brought your family into our lives.

    Love and prayers,

I have no words….just prayers to offer for all of you…..I pray that you will continue to be “strong and courageous”….We love you and are among the multitudes who walk with you through the dark.

We are so disappointed to hear that Mike is back in the hospital. We pray for wisdom on behalf of the doctors to diagnose the cause of the fever so hopefully this won’t happen again. We pray for Mike that he will continue to keep up a positive attitude through this difficult time and not allow himself to become discouraged. This is no surprise to the One who loves him most and He will be the One that will get Mike back to full health in His perfect timing. We stand committed to continue lifting Mike up in prayer and giving God the glory for what He has accomplished in Mike thus far.
Hang in there Michelle and don’t hesitate to call us for anything! Barb & Matt

We have been away, yet today before I checked in I found you and Mike on my heart to pray for. It is amazing how God’s Spirit is moving His people to pray for you and Mike, His children, to accomplish His will and bring about His glory. Oh how He loves you Mike and MIchelle!

May God continue to be so real to both of you. May you tangibly know HIs presence right now. May He be your hope when you are discouraged. May He comfort you when you get frustrated. May He give you patience and peace when you feel empty. May His Spirit guide the doctors and give them wisdom beyond their own. May He heal Mike from whatever is causing the fever. May He continue to meet each need of your family. May you truely know and experience your Father’s love for you today!
