Mike has been discharged from Edward, and he has returned to Marianjoy.  As he returns to the more intensive therapy offered at Marianjoy, let us meet his efforts in our renewed, intensive prayer.  (As if we had to ask!)  Bless you all.

We went to visit Mike last night after Naperville Central beat Hinsdale Central 7-2 in supersectional baseball game. I told Chad during the game, little does Hinsdale know there is no way that they will beat Naperville because they have probably dedicated the season to Mike. 🙂
What a joy to visit with Mike. He squeezed our hands in response to do you know who we are. He followed us with his right eye. He lifted his fingers, I think out of great joy, to hear Dr. Love talk about his daughter going to camp this summer. As we were leaving he shook his head in response to wanting the light turned out. It was also great to meet Dr. Love and Theresa and just see what great care they have for him. We were encouraged, at least for me for the first time to be with Mike and know that he is with us and really aware. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this journey with you.

With all that said, my prayer for you, Mike, McKaela, & Eli may He continue to carry you through this, may this burden be lightened, may your strength increase by the grace of our Lord, may he meet each of you in a real and tangilbe practical way every day. May He grant you restful sleep. We give praise to our great High Priest who is constantly interceeding for us on our behave, may you know and sense that today.
    Peace and love,

Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
    Isaiah 43:18-19

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
    Jeremiah 32:27

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.
    Jeremiah 17:14

Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!
    Revelation 5:13

I join the many others in giving our Lord all the praise for this positive development. May it be the start of many more on Mike’s road of full restoration and recovery.

    In Christ,
