OH MY GOSH! My heart has been filled with such joy at receiving all of your emails and seeing your posts with interest to pray. Honestly, this is one of the most powerful testimonies to the Lord’s love I have ever witnessed. I could only hope to live a life like Mike and Michelle’s that has impacted SO MANY people so significantly.
WE WILL HAVE THE YOUNG LIFE OFFICE OPEN AND WOULD LOVE FOR PEOPLE IN THE AREA TO PRAY THERE. WE WILL HAVE COFFEE AND SNACKS AND A LIST OF PRAYER REQUESTS POSTED FOR GUIDANCE. The address = 711 w. Oswego (across West street from NCHS).
This has been an outpouring of love that I hope protects Michelle (and the kids), strengthens Mike and speaks to so many of God’s unending greatness. This is GOOD!

I just returned from a conference on the Holy Spirit. I want to share from one of the teaching sessions. Pastor Jackie Leveron spoke on James 5:16 “Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” A righteous man is one who is in right standing. Rather than seeking to understand, we want to be understood. Lord, forgive us for pride and self-righteousness. We need to start with forgiving and repenting in our homes. Lord, forgive us for unforgiveness. We are called to pray for one another. Lord, forgive us for unfaithfulness in prayer for others. By our position in Christ alone, we are made righteous. It is Christ’s righteousness that makes us righteous. Some hindrances to righteousness are unforgiveness, doubt, worry, and walking out of love with God and others. Forgive us Lord for unbelief. Lord, we do believe, help our unbelief. Also, effective prayer is marked by intensity and passion. This was such a powerful teaching.
I don’t know about the rest of you but I am convicted of my lack of passion and intensity in prayer for my brother, Mike Zegarski. Lord, forgive me, for being slow to respond to your promptings to pray for my brother. Lord, forgive me for being proud and self-righteous. I repent, Lord. You alone are righteous and You alone are able to touch Mike with Your healing power. Father, You are worthy to receive all of our praise. Forgive us Lord for not being faithful in prayer for Mike. Lord, we come to You this early morning and ask for Your touch. Heal Mike by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Not that we have anything to offer of ourselves. We only have Jesus because You have given Him to us. Lord, we lift Mike up to You for Your healing touch to embrace him this day and heal him Lord for Your glory and for Jesus’ sake and it is in His Name that we pray to You. You are able Lord and more than willing to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine. Receive Your glory!!!! Amen and amen!! Hallelujah!
